Richards High School is gearing up for an exciting cross country season following their impressive performance at the SSC Mega Conference Meet. The team took first place, showcasing their hard work and determination. Leading the charge was standout runner James O’Shea, who placed second overall in the men’s varsity race running a personal record of 15:58, in which he shattered the school sophomore record for the fastest 3 mile time in Richards history. Reflecting on his race, O’Shea said, “My performance was good, and I did in fact PR, overall it was a very smooth race.” His leadership and the team’s collective effort have set a strong foundation for what promises to be a very successful season ahead.
