Parent teacher conferences are a crucial part to your success. It gives the opportunity for parents and teachers to discuss how you are doing in a class and how you can do better. Due to this communication between parents and teachers, it helps both parties get a better understanding of you. It gives parents the chance to know more about how you are participating in the class, and how they can help you improve with behavior and grades, while also providing them with an opportunity to share why you may be having difficulties. The parent teacher conference is a very important part of your success and helps bridge the gap between your parents and teachers allowing them to put a combined effort in their encouragement for you. AP Euro teacher Mrs. Louirero says, “It’s helpful to maintain contact with families so they know what is happening in our classrooms. I always enjoy talking with parents.” Parents will have the option to go to an in person conference or, they can schedule an appointment through skyward to have it on zoom call. This year in person conferences are 1PM to 3PM and zoom conferences are 6PM to 8PM.
